Training going well....

Still training hard and looking forward to PEAK phase starting next week. I am finding it easier to get up and out of bed early mornings, even though I am more disciplined at the start of the week. Monday is easy to get up... figure if I commence the working week with a kick butt session I will do my full routine easy.

The gym this morning was so quiet being post-mardi gras... so very quiet inside (still many out and about outside after the weekend....nothing like leather chaps first thing on a Monday morning to wake you up).

On Saturday I did my usual "fun" class - Bodyjam, Sean was great did some old routines and had a good workout, I then stayed and did bodybalance, thought this might help the body relax and recover after a long week of training. It did just the trick. Sunday was NO exercise, decided to have a sleep in and not go for a swim... ended up pottering around the house cleaning and doing some cleansing by throwing out two bags of rubbish from my room.... nice and neat it is now with lots of positive energy and some new candles.

This morning I trained legs/back/biceps and due to the availability of ALL the equipment didn't have to wait for any of the machines, which is a first. I am still squatting only 55kg - will need to increase this slightly next week (did my quads just say ouch?) am happy to increase my deadlifts also as the weight is too light at 22kgs. Biceps will go up from 15kgs to 17.5kgs (all on the bar).

Have worked out my exercise calories for this week, 4768 - am doing quite a bit of double training sessions, ie swim in the morning, weights in the afternoon, will see how that goes. Have worked out that I am on 1200 calories a day.... so have managed to get some good snacks (protein shakes, hoummus with sakata, nuts, fruit/yoghurt).
